12:23 am - The first appointment...
Is today at 1:45PM.
I hate GYN appointments and I hate OB appts just as much. But at least this isn't my first time and I know what to expect.
Those who read my husband's journal have gotten the memo but for everyone else: I'm pregnant. I apologize if that is duplicate information for anyone.

I found the only doctor in the entire state of Georgia on the listings for Atlanta ICAN a part of the International Caesarean Awareness Network, that publicly supports VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean). I hope that means it won't be hard to convince him of my other requests: no pain medication, no pitocin, and the ability to move around while in Labor. We'll see.

current mood: excited

12:08 pm - Hmm
Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done.
* See if anybody else responds with "I've done that."
* Have your friends cut & paste this into their journal to see what unique things they've done in their life. (hint! hint!)

1. I married one of the infamous Stuck brothers.

2. I have sprained my back putting on my jeans.

3. From the time I moved out of my parent's house when I was 18 to now I have moved: 25 times.

12:54 am - Attack of the Kitteh!
My Mom and daughter came up to stay today. Mom is going on a trip to DE to visit friends tomorrow leaving a week of just the three of us.

Cathy as she has decided to be called now brought her kitteh, Kitten. Yep, Kitten. Creative powers of name giving were not bestowed in my family. We shall see how the allergy thing goes. I have lots of Benadryl for a reason.

This Friday is Cathy's birthday. She is turning 12 and getting phenomenal lootz for it. Two new DS games. A cake from Whole Foods, a trip to six flags (for which she earned a free ticket) and lots of WoW timez.

Then Father's day.

I have no idea what I'm going to do for that.

3:16 am - On Vox: Where do I go from here?

As of Sunday we've been recycling, and it seems to be working out pretty well. For one thing we don't have to throw out trash as often, giving my Husband more time for video games.

Over the last few months my Husband and I have been throwing ourselves rather wholeheartedly into our environmental interests. We both have always felt that we could do more and now we are. Admittedly, I wind up being the catalyst for most of the changes. Which include:
1. Kicking off our recycling plan
2. Using mainly cotton dishtowels rather than paper towels.
3. Changing our food habits to eating more fresh food and reducing the foods that we eat that have unknown or overly chemical ingredients.
4. Reusing many of the glass and plastic containers that come into the house as food packaging.
5. Changing all of our light bulbs to CFL fluorescents.
6. Turning off lights.
7. Cleaning with natural ingredients such as baking soda and vinegar to reduce man made poisons in our home.
8. Growing plants to naturally filter the air.
9. Using dryer balls rather than sheets.
10. Switching to low chemical, powder dishwasher soap
11. Nixing all disposable plates and glasses.
12. Using cloth rather than paper napkins.
13. Reducing our water usage by taking shorter showers and flushing pee only after the third or fourth time.
14. Buying cereal and dried fruits and nuts in bulk or with less packaging.
15. Trying to make round trips while out and saving up errands to run several on a single day.
16. Buying a Low Emissions Vehicle.

Most of these processes have netted us lowered household costs and are generally easier to make than you would think. Some of them require a nominal up front cost to save money over the long run. I encourage as many people who can to try at least some of the ideas above.

There is always room for improvement though and I do need to get better about certain things but I'm not really an activist so I don't know where to go from here. I am posting this so that anyone can see this in the hopes that it will generate ideas for my friends to save money and help the environment.

12:10 am - Ch ch ch changes...Name changes anyway....
The bureaucracy has been waded through and my name has been changed to reflect my marriage to a wonderful man.
I am now to be known as...

Sarcasmo!!!

Ok, no not really.

Stephanie Bell Stuck

Yep, that's the one.

Amazingly enough I actually got through all of the major bureaucratic venues in less than a day: Social Security Office, Driver Services and the bank.

The last one was really easy, though.

So for curiosity's sake, yes the name is different but I'm still the same old me, except married, happily and a Stuck.

11:55 pm - Presenting the new Mrs. Stuck
The wedding was beautiful. Everything was gorgeous and there was nothing more exciting and wonderful than standing next to [info]btfh as we exchanged vows, rings and a sweet kiss.

In a completely unusual and somewhat unexpected (for a few people at least) turn of events I am changing my name. As soon as the marriage certificate comes in it's off to the Social Security office to change my information there then to the DMV.

There was rain on my wedding, hell there was a hail storm on my wedding day! If rain is lucky then I should say that hail means overwhelming fortune. But then the sun came out and everything was gorgeous again with lots of glittering decorations all around the outside. It seems as though the elements blessed my union.

The flowers were amazing, the ceremony was conducted with grace, style and a twist of fun, all in all, an absolutely unforgettable day.

Everyone who was unable to come due to illness, weather or any other reason, you were missed. I hope to see you all soon.

EDIT: Alright here are the pictures-Wedding Pictures

Tauren Druid

f-tauren.jpgdruid.jpg

Tauren, the not-very-gentle giants of the Horde, stand out above the rest. Pastoral at heart, they may feel the need to defend their fields - or their honour, if someone were to insult their fuzzy, glossy coat.

As a druid, you tend to be relaxed and accepting - though if there is something you don't want to do, then you won't do it - simple as that. You're an easygoing and versatile person.

Appropriate as Tauren Druid is my main.

Which character type are you?

You're the Socially Challenged Genius type. A lot of people have this in the form of Asperger's, but sometimes it's natural. You're great at whatever you put your mind to doing, you can fix whatever they throw at you, and your writing skills are probably top notch -- but conversation? What's that? Mostly you blunder along, occasionally getting lucky, but it's more of an endearment to your friends than anything else.

In love: you are obsessed with making your partner happy

In friendship, you're: helpful and giving - eager to be a true friend

Your ideal job: poet, flight attendant, or natural healer

Your sense of fashion: casual, upscale, revealing, conservative - you look good in all of it

You like to pig out on: a well prepared five course meal

8:43 am - Dead common I am...

HowManyOfMe.com
LogoThere are:
702
people with my name
in the U.S.A.

How many have your name?

And three of them grew up in my hometown. Two of them were in Birmingham, AL when I lived there (very confusing for some people obviously). Sigh, I suppose I should be happy my name isn't unusual. At least most people spell it correctly and my last name isn't some mystery of vowels and consonants that somehow in combination create a perfectly pronouncable word so long as you can figure out which letters to snub.

8:26 pm - So this is 28...
Not so bad so far.
I had a good weekend. It started Friday, which is always good. I had the day off because my workplace is cool like that. I went shopping, ate lunch and generally bummed around alone. I loved it. I rarely get quality alone time to work through my crap and think about the big picture and where I want to be in it. It was gloriously relaxing. I got myself a few new things at Old Navy, then hit the Gamestop to pick up a DS carry case for Btfh and the Sonic DS game. I also popped by Oxford and got a few comics that caught my eye. That night I went to a fabulous Italian place called Bambinelli's next to Northlake Mall, Btfh and I were joined by Darkfire007 and flamewing which was awesome as I haven't seen either of them in way too long.

Saturday, Btfh and I headed out for Auburn. A little early, but that scored us breakfast at the Cracker Barrel something we'd both been craving. After that we checked into the Holiday Inn in Opelika. Not the best hotel I've ever stayed in but honestly not the worst I've ever seen either. All in all it was quiet. We went off to the Mage game and played. That was fun but recently, I've been really burnt out on the Camarilla. The feeling of malaise I get when playing that particular set of RPG's has become virulent enough to start to degrade my fun playing in other RPG's. I hope I get to the bottom of that feeling soon, it's starting to eat up so much fun I could be having. Therefore, even though I fully intended to play on Saturday night in Auburn, I didn't. Instead opting to cuddle up in front of the TV in the hotel and just unwind.

Sunday, I got up early and traversed the town looking for a quick but tasty breakfast. The Taylor's of my youth had all gone away, and the little bakery I thought I remembered in Opelika was gone, but what did I find instead? Starbucks. *Sigh* When homey and quaint aren't there, there's always corporate coffee. After having our coffee Btfh and I headed out to my Mom's where I spent the day lazing around with my Mom, and playing games with my daughter. My Mom got me towels my daughter got me a locked with a skull on the front. :)

So, my birthday was a good one and it wasn't too difficult to get out of bed and head off to work this morning.

To Street_Wraith who called me to wish me a happy birthday, thank you and it was a great weekend. To all those who wished me well, I love you and to all those who thought about me, you're wonderful.
